Went kayaking with the youth group.it was pretty fun ad hilarious to watch some of them capsize over and over again.i think my back is going to take forever to heal at this rate.hah.went to meet up with a few sec school friends for dinner.havent seen them for some time and had a good time coz they're all jokers.ate the familiar $3 mee goreng at alfiah and then headed for the bbq nearby.i know it sounds weird to eat dinner before going for a bbq but i didnt count or there being safe edible food at the bbq so i took my chances by eating 1st.reach when they were starting the fire for the bbq so a few of us just slacked under a block nearby.played the guitar and played PSP there.haha.like so relek sia.but didnt stay long coz went to meet church peeps.
other then that,hasnt been much going on.just when i'm about to get a bit more serious with studies,its going to be the hols already.haha.what a waste.

its been another quick week of school,tests are coming up and i really got to put some time in to study.dont quite understand a few modules coz i think the poly lecturers are really leaving alot for us to self study.they progress really quick,like a chapter a week which is super fast.most of my polymates are just as blur as me so that gives me some relief that i'm not the only one struggling to understand the different lessons.will be having tests next week which is like the final week of the term.the week after that is something called e-learning week where we all sit at home in front of our computers and do whatever work the teacher has posted on the net.sounds pretty cool and i doubt everyone would do the work.but this is followed by 2 weeks break.school seems to have started not long ago and already its going to be holidays for 2 weeks.
i kinda miss my secondary school friends,i really thought we would meet much more often then this.heh.meet some of them still by taking the mrt with them or seeing them around school.other then that,i havent been in contact with quite a few of them even though we were quite close in sec school.think there is a bbq going on this sat organized by a few sec school matez.should be fun if i can go.
i saw 2 people actually rush(by this i mean literally sprinting)for 1 seat in the train today.
sitting on the floor of the mrt has become very normal for me.so has laughing till my stomach hurts.

watched a movie with my polymates on friday.its was pretty good and we took up like a whole row of seats.played pool with them b4 the show too.quite a few of the are pro.i really never expected my class to turn out so...normal??anyway we just kind of chilled after the movie,i love to just chill and talk.so lucky my classmates are that kind of ppl.we ate lunch and laugh like crazy.laugh until almost cry talking about nonsense.then walk walk around to kind of window shop.went into toys'r'us and made a complete fool of ourselves.played with the xbox,play the basketball,play frisbee.all inside the shop.lucky never kena chase out.ouh ya we also took this long styrofoam thingy used in the pool to start hitting each other.really looked like a bunch of hooligans.great bunch of friends!!then we just sat down at this garden thingy near carrefour there.sat and talked and laughed.for about and hr or two.think if i carry on hanging with them as often,i'll develop strong stomach muscles from laughing.i had to leave early for church and i think they stayed in the area till late.
played pool today.again.been using alot of cash.gota spend less for now.and i think my polymates are starting to all get a bit serious.tests are coming.we're all probably going to study together.hope i can understand the modules properly.time's been passing so quick that the 1st term is almost over.hope i do well for the tests!!

Had a long weekend.thanx to Vesak day happening on Friday.On sat went to yvonne's place there to celebrate her birthday.she's a polymate and was kind enough to invite the class.I find it quite cool that we've known each other for quite a short time but have all gotten pretty close already.anyway it ws great fun.we spent most of the nite talking and joking among ourselves.laugh alot.the people in my class have a good sense of humour.well most of them do la.She was turning 18 so there were like a few bottles of wine there.and for people like me,we had the pleasure of drinking ribena.close enough i guess?haha.then we had cake,or sort of la.my piece of cake was stuffed into my face thanx to yvonne.but it was good cake i gotta admit.and the most funny part was when she fell down,shant go into details.
ouh yes,liverpool won the FA cup.another fantastic comeback although they came so close to losing if west ham could have held on for just 1 more minute.haha.anyway doesnt matter,next big game is ars and barc.not really supporting anyone coz both sides are really good.should be a good match to watch.
Sunday was mothers' day.Happy Mothers' Day to all mums!!had a good meal at my place with the relatives from dad's side.talked about stuff and i like the way Paul says some words.with the french accent.i think its pretty amusing.haha.sorry sheela!
man poly life is so slack.since i've started,i have never studied anything at home.unlikely this will last long though

its quite hard to believe that i'm in the 4th week of poly already.it felt such a short time ago when i was eating $2.50 chicken chop in bgss.anyway,i've really gotten to know my classmates.and all 18 of them are pretty cool people.there are a total of 2 girls in my class.not surprising for an engineering course.there is a big size guy with a stylish mohawk who can probably whack me till my mum doesnt recognize me.another joker guy who is the life of the class and seems to get high on oxygen.1 iritating dude who is probably the smartest guy in class with his 7 pts.there is a sadistic psycho who cuts up lizards and other things and films himself doing it,and he has like the most innocent face.another guy who is also pretty smart.1 dude who takes the long mrt ride with me and makes me feel better because he stays in pasir ris.a total of 4 malay guys in the class.1 really hardworking guy,1 skater and rocker guy,1 quiet guy and 1 really noisy as in for no reason start shouting and burping guy but quite funny.then there is a dude who is like really a big fan of soccer only he cant play the game for nuts.another guy who is always the only 1 sweating in the lecture rooms.an anti social chinese guy.a very chatty hindu guy who's taking his motor liscense so with any luck i may get to go on a joyride.and then there is our class rep who is quite useless coz he cant remember anyone's name and doesnt take note of announcements.they're all pretty slack which means i fit in perfectly.

On the way back today from school i suddenly just recalled how enjoyable secondary school life was.esp in class 4/3.how our class had these few people who were always late for school.it was like a standard thing to see them walk into class about 5 or 10 mins late$ with a slip of paper in their hand to show the teacher why they were late.and i remember browsing through the list of papers in the general office.most of the standard reasons were like "woke up late","the bus took so long to reach or was late","i wasnt feeling well at 1st but miracly recovered in 5 mins".but once in a while there would be some people who just dont know how to lie la.like "the bus i took brokedown and i had to wait for the next bus which brokedown too",or "there was a traffic jam!!and i stay about 5 mins walk from the school".it was really fun reading those pathetic reasons.
i also miss the class times.like geog,bio and hist lessons.geog was the best of all.it was practically a 2nd recess for the day.the teacher would be talking to herself or if she's lucky 2 or 3 students.everyone would either be doing uncompleted homework during the lesson or playing sepak takraw(correct my spelling please)at the back of the class.even better when geog lesson was at the library.not only because it was air-con,but also it just meant that students would take some books from the shelves and read then dring the lesson.i remember Kai xiang bringing a whole stack of some jap comic and offering it to everyone in the middle of class.or if u really didnt want to pay attention u could go outside to play monopoly or scrabble or something.i think everyone really loved to get scolded by our geog teacher coz it meant u would be the entertainer as everyone would be laughing.
i also loved MT lessons.thats coz i wouldnt be in class at all.playing soccer on the 4th level of school or playing vulgar scrabble or using the time to finish homework we didnt do.man i'm really glad i took CLB.i think we got a total of 3 or 4 soccer and sepak takraw balls confiscated or lost to the water pipes.haha.what fun!!we used to take out our work and place it on the tables and then play soccer nearby so whenever a teacher was spotted we immediately sat down looking like we trying so hard to do our work that we were sweating.
those were a few of the highlights in secondary school.many more of course.maybe write another day.
crap i gota get up early fro school tmr!
